Payment Requirement
All course fees must be paid in full prior to commencing any programme at Liffey College.Acceptance Letter
An Acceptance Letter will only be issued once full payment has been received.
- Payment Deadlines
- International learners: Full fees must be paid at least 10 weeks before the course start date.
- Non-Visa Required Nationalities: Proof of payment must be included in the Acceptance Letter prior to travel.
- Visa Required Nationalities: Proof of payment must be submitted with the study visa application.

- No pre-booking system is available; a place is only secured upon full payment.
- Partial payment does not guarantee a place.
- Fee Handling
- Funds for international learners will remain in the College client visa account until the visa application is determined.
- If a visa application is refused, fees will be refunded according to the Liffey College Fee Refund Policy.
- Registration Fee
- Liffey College registration fee: €300 (subject to review).
- If a learner outside Ireland requests a change in course dates after receiving the Acceptance Letter, a further €300 registration fee apply.
- Course Changes and Class Time Adjustments
- Course dates cannot be changed once the College has informed immigration of a student’s enrolment.
- If a renewal student's visa is refused because of a large gap between the end date of their current course and the start date of their new course, and the student wishes to change their course start date to an earlier date, a new registration fee of €300 will apply. Any change of start date is also subject to course availability.
- Learners may submit a Time Change Request through their learner portal and must pay an administration fee of €300 in advance.
- Any additional course fee difference exceeding €300 must also be paid by the learner.
- Class time changes are subject to availability.
- Class level changes are granted on a first-come, first-served basis and are also subject to availability.
- Learners may request a maximum of two (2) class changes within a 25-week period.
- Changes cannot take effect within the same week; they will apply starting from the following Monday (subject to availability.)
- Responsibility of Learners
- Learners must ensure they comply with Irish State laws, college rules, and immigration regulations.
- No refunds are due if a visa is refused due to legal violations or providing fraudulent information/documents.
- Irish Immigration Website: https://www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-study-in-ireland/
- Non-Payment
- Outstanding fees may result in the forfeiture of the learner’s place.
- Delayed payments may incur a non-refundable late payment fee of €300.
- Cancellation of the Course:
- If a learner decides to cancel the course before or after the course start date and the college processes the cancellation request, no fees will be refunded. This is because it is the student’s choice to cancel. We strongly advise learners to think carefully before enrolling. Once a cancellation request has been processed, the student will no longer be eligible to attend classes, and no further fees will be refunded. Relevant immigration authorities may also be informed where applicable.
- Jurisdiction
- All fees, refunds and cancellations are subject to the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
