Payment of Fees

Payment of Fees – Visa Required Students

Liffey College is committed to protecting learner fees and ensuring compliance with QQI-TrustEd requirements.

For visa-required students, where fees are required to be held in an escrow or escrow-type arrangement, payments will be processed through TransferMate, a delayed payment platform that protects learner funds until the required conditions are met.

From 20 July 2026, Liffey College will use TransferMate for all relevant payments requiring an escrow or escrow-type arrangement, in line with QQI guidance and requirements.

Students and agents can continue to make payments securely through the TransferMate platform as part of our commitment to learner protection and transparent fee management.

Course Fees, Payments & Refund Policy

  • Important: Liffey College assumes and strongly advises that each learner has made a thoughtful and well-researched decision before applying for the course and making payment. All learners are required to pay the full course fee in advance, in accordance with the fee policies of Liffey College.
  • When making a payment, ensure you include your Application Identification Number (found on your offer/invoice letter from Liffey College) in the payment reference/message section. This allows the college to locate your payment promptly.
  • Course fees for visa-required students will remain protected through TransferMate’s payment process until the learner’s study visa application has been processed. If the visa application is refused, the fees will be refunded in accordance with Liffey College’s Fee Refund Policy, less any applicable foreign exchange variance.
  • Please note that learners with any outstanding fees will not be eligible to receive any letters, certificates or other official documents until all fees have been paid in full.
  • If a learner has commenced their course and fails to pay any outstanding fees when due, the college reserves the right to suspend or cancel their classes. In such cases, no refund of fees paid will be applicable.

Visa-required students must pay their course fees through the TransferMate account only.

If the payment is not made through TransferMate, the college will not accept the payment. Any funds received through other methods will be returned to the student, and the college registration fee charges will be deducted before the refund is processed.
